Marty Kenney for ACME Studio " Zorble Five " reflecting the wild and alien Graffiti of Marty Kenney. 5 3/8" long with the cap closed. A maze of Black/Silver line work surrounds the pen over a bright green background and chrome accents.

MARTY KENNEY Born in 1975, and grew up in upcountry Maui, Hawaii. A graphic designer by trade, he owns and operates Mantis Artworks, based out of Maui. His style is hard to define as he incorporates a wide variety of subject matter in his work, which is created using diverse mediums such as digital imaging, pen and ink, spray paint, photomontage, acrylic, colored pencils, or just about any materials which happen to be in front of him. He describes his work as "fragmented diagrams of biomechanic tribal alien graffiti". Others have noted that the clustered and chaotic compositions of his work demand constant visual attention, yet at the same time, force the viewer's eyes to wander in an observational frenzy. He has worked at ACME Studios as a graphic artist since 1997.

The pen can be customized as a roller ball, a ballpoint, a felt tip, a fountain or even a capacitive pen for use with smart devices. Artist’s signature is engraved on the cap band and “ACME” is on the clip. The pen is presented in a metal ACME tin with a black sleeve. This product is current and is "brand new". The instrument comes equipped with roller ball components using German manufactured Schmidt ink refills (fine point, non-drying), and includes new ACME Studio packaging. Packaging includes a lined metal presentation box, with sleeve, and ACME Studio literature.

ACME Studio writing instruments are well designed with a comfortable weight and shape. Quality manufacturing with metal-to-metal threading. This is a designers' writing instrument for a designer and/or an enthusiast with a keen sense of style.

ACME Studio Started in 1985, ACME Studio is an international product design company, producing and marketing writing instruments, and other design objects. Its products are the result of cooperation with the world's leading architects, designers, artists, foundations, estates and institutions. ACME Studio has a habit of producing limited editions and/or discontinuing products and destroying the molds - this causes items to become very unique and collectable. Fountain Pens ACME Writing Tools are unique in that they are sold as rollerballs but they can easily be converted to fountain pens [and back again].
